Palazzetto Pisani - Venicefrom United StatesOlder travelersAugust 201610.0Exclusive
This was an enchanting converted Pallace, right on the Grand Canal. a stone's throw from the Bridge of Sighs. The decor was unbelievably beautiful and the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was a good one.
There is nothing that I didn't like about the Palazzetto Pisani.

Palazzetto Pisani is a truely Venician hotel and right on the Grand Canal. From the seating in our room we watched the world go by, the gondola races splashed by our window as we sipped Prosecco. The staff, starting with the host, Agnes, were most helpful. One did not have to transition to Venice each day from a chain or modern accomadation, but were already Venitian.

The staff was fantastic - so friendly and helpful. Every person who worked there made us feel like honored guests. The public areas of the palace were very beautiful, especially the Doge suite which was opened up to guests since it was not booked while we were there. We will always remember our time sitting out on the balcony overlooking the Grand Canal, sipping a glass of wine end enjoying the sites. We also liked that the Palazetto Pisani was away from the big tourist areas, but still close enough to walk to them. It was far more peaceful at the Palazetto Pisani than elsewhere on the island! We would stay here again.
We would recommend painting the walls and improving the lighting/ambiance of the Conte suite where we stayed. To us, it just felt "old" rather than "antique".

More than a 5 stars!! The Palazzetto is a really nice and superb Boutique Hotel facing the Grand Canal. The Suite Bellavista where I stayed was very big and facing the Canale Grande. What I appreciate more was the authenticity of all the room decorations. The service is very high level, super good the aperitif on the main dining room with the balconies on the Canale Grande, the view is spectacular! I can say also 5 stars for the breakfast on the big big room is near the music conservatory and the two chef prepare the fresh orange juice and omelette just on the table in front of you, the coffe machine was a piece of art for the cappuccino and espresso! The bathroom was modern and very nice (not in many hotel is so nice) with Etro bath collection, really chic! The concierges provide us all the transfers with competitive rate and all the restaurant suggestions, super nice Antiche Carampane! I hope to come back very soon!!!
Everything amazing!

Palazzetto Pisani - Venicefrom United StatesCoupleJuly 20168.2Fabulous
The staff was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. Palezzetto Pisani made us feel as though we had stepped back in time...which is exactly what you hope for when you visit Italy. I was actually brought to tears standing on the balcony, drinking my coffee on the Grand Canal, watching the boats go by and listening to the church bells ring. It was perfection. I would absolutely stay here again. We actually asked to have wine one night on the balcony and the staff went above and beyond. They set up candles, a red rose, 2 wine glasses and delicious Italian cookies. It was our honeymoon and it was more than we could have ever hoped for!!!
My only complaint would be very small about our room. It didn't exactly look like it did on line. It was still perfectly fine, just not as nice. Things like cracks in the walls and decorative elements covering some eyesores. It was not as clean as it could have been, but it wasn't disgusting. This is a small complaint to how great the rest of the property was.

Palazzetto Pisani - Venicefrom United StatesGroup of friendsJuly 20167.4Very good
This is a very exclusive hotel and has been open for a short time, there are only 8 rooms. The Doge suite is a fantastic time warp, full of antiques and personal photos. Just like staying in a palace. Charming, helpful staff. Wonderful views from the balconies.
Tricky to find on foot. The breakfast was quite basic and would have liked to have our own pot of coffee rather than having to use a vacuum flask.

Our room was amazing, the view couldn't have been better. Bottom floor suite.
No refrigator in room. Couldn't buy any cheese or drinks to keep in the room. For the price of room bathrobes would of been nice to have.

Charm, location,people
False advertizing, it was not a 2 bedroom suite, it was a bedroom with a parlor. It had no kitchenette, only acess to the main kitchen. It had no balcony overlooking the Grand Canal, just windows. The A/C was terrible, only one portable unit in the parlor, none in the bedroom. No curtains in the bedroom to block out the early mornig light. Only one clothes cabinet for storage., loose rugs that would slide around on the hardwood and tile floors. The bathroom was very very small located under the stairwell and I would constantly hit my head as the height was limited, there was no tissues, just toliet paper. The mirror in the bathroom was so old you couldn't hardly see in it.

Palazzetto Pisani - Venicefrom United StatesOlder travelersJune 20167.8Fabulous
The view of the Grand Canal through 3 large windows was soooo beautiful. Lovely spacious rooms, large comfortable (firm) bed, aircon in bedroom. Utterly mad marble bathroom. Antique furnishings, fabric wall coverings, painted ceilings in the Bellavista suite. Public rooms even more impressive (not always available due to functions). Good breakfast.
Just a few things not perfect, best summed up as faded glory, just like Venice itself. Not easy to find, along some scary back alleys, but a grand entrance if you arrive by water taxi.

This hotel is beautfiful in the perfect location.
It was difficult to find. I booked a 2 bedroom superior suite, like the pictures for the Bellavista suite. I needed this as we were 4 adults. Well, we did not get this, but 2 rooms interconnecting with a tiny bathroom that you had to walk through the other bedroom to get too, very inconvenient at night. When I asked the Manager "why we have not got the suite I booked", his answer was "that he does not have any suites". So, if you book a suite (as you still book this suite) don't expect to get it!!

What a surprise this beautifull 300 year old palazzetto was. All the charm and ambiance of a grand old lady. We loved the history , the paintngs , the chandeliers and the Persian carpets. The windows open right on the Grand Canal with the gondolas and the music. We felt really priveliged to be part of this for a couple of days. With all our extensive travelling , this is the one that we will return to time and again.
Definitely not for chrome and glass people. The exterior looked shabby, but remember this is Venice.

Want to stay in an old residence oozing history with hotel views to die for ? The breakfast room is a special experience but having drinks on the balcony at night is beyond special .... as is Venice !

Palazzetto Pisani - Venicefrom United StatesCoupleMay 20167.4Very good
In every way Palazzetto Pisani was almost. Hotel itself is unique, an old house with really memorable rooms and common areas. Breakfast was very good, but it could have been a little extra. Rooms looked really good, but could have been a bit more clean. Location was close to Accademia bridge, but could have been a bit closer to the city center. Excellent with a but. Suitable for people who are looking for small and unique accommodations.
Although hotel has free wifi, it did not reach to my room. Used the common areas for internet, luckily hotel is small and nobody disturbed when I was working.
